The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is presently accepting sealed bids for fleet maintenance service on an as-needed basis. The Howell County Sheriff’s Office Fleet primarily contains the following vehicle makes and models:
1. 2018-2025 Chevy Tahoe
2. 2015-2018 Ford Explorer
3. 2018-2020 Chevy Silverado 1500
4. 2016-2017 Ford F-150
5. 2017-2024 Dodge Durango
6. 2013-2019 Ford Taurus
7. 2019 Dodge Charger
8. 2004-2006 Ford F-350 6.0 Diesel
9. 2017 Dodge Caravan
10. 2017 Chevrolet Express 2500 Van
11. 2019 Chevrolet Impala
REQUIREMENTS: The bid needs to have the following information:
Hourly labor rates for automobile repair.
Pricing for oil changes for each of the above models.
Percentage mark up on parts.
Submit the bid form in original (one original) and two (two copies) with all specification pages, if applicable. No facsimile or electronic proposals shall be accepted and shall be rejected.
The vendor shall comply with the requirements of Sections 285.525 to 285.555 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri. If any part of the work is subcontracted, each subcontractor shall comply with the same requirements of this specification. No contractor shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the State of Missouri. Vendor and any of its subcontractors, shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm their enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with the contracted services. The vendor and its subcontractors shall also sign an affidavit affirming that they do not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien.
License, Bond, and Insurance required: Current and valid Certificate of Insurance or binder showing required insurance coverage must be provided with each bid. (The county must be added as additional insured if awarded).
LATE PROPOSALS: It is the responsibility of the vendor to deliver his proposal or proposal modification on or before the date and time of the proposal closing to the Howell County Commission. Proposals received late will be rejected and returned unopened to the vendor.

TO SUBMIT BIDS: Please mark the bid envelope “Bid for Automobile Service” and submit to the Howell County Commission, 35 Court Square Room 302, West Plains, MO 65775. Bids must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on September 01, 2026, and will be opened on September 03, 2026. The Howell County Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
