At five years old, Patsy moved with her family to Mansfield, where she grew up and attended school at Mansfield High School with the class of 1964. On December 7, 1963, Patsy was united in marriage to Roy “Kay” Dennis. Together, they shared 57 devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2020.

Patsy was a hard worker, spending 33 years employed with Signal as the manager of “Old Signal,” also known as “Patsy’s store,” on the South side of Mansfield. Faith was a central part of her life, and she began attending the Mansfield Presbyterian Church in 1964 and remained a faithful member throughout her life.

In her spare time, Patsy enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino to play those “one-armed bandits.” Above all else, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved attending baseball games, cross-country events, rodeos, or anything else her grandkids were involved in.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Cook and Louise Evans, her husband, Kay Dennis, Sister, Bonnie Bogart, two brothers, Joe Welton and Dwayne Welton, and her sister-in-law and friend, Loretta “Pat” Dennis.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Kima Harris, and husband, Scott, two grandsons, Dustin Clark and wife, Rheanna, and Ryan Harris and wife, Jen, all of Mansfield, six great-grandchildren, Lily, Faith, Jaxon, Dakota, Rylee, Ronan, and 3 great great-grandchildren Kaysen, Hazel, and Emersyn Joe, two sisters-in-law, DeeDee Welton and Margaret Welton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many, many friends.
