Ozarks Healthcare will host a free “Ladies Night” at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at the Willard-Hunter Classroom at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains. The event will bring together women’s health professionals for an evening of conversation, education and questions focused on women’s health throughout the lifespan.

The panel will include Ozarks Healthcare Women’s Health providers Dr. Roxanna Torres, Tabitha Young, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Jennifer Rhoads, WHNP, Emily Streit, DPT, and staff from Ozarks Healthcare’s Mammography Department. Topics will span a variety of stages and seasons of life, including teenage and young women, reproductive years, the 20s and 30s, perimenopause, menopause and post menopause.

The evening will also include an open question-and-answer session, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions directly of the panel. Guests will have the opportunity to tour Ozarks Healthcare’s Mobile Mammography Unit and learn more about convenient breast health services available in the community.

A fall-inspired meal will also be provided, featuring soup, salad, bread, and dessert from Colton’s Steakhouse and Grill.

“Women’s healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, and our needs can change significantly throughout our lives,” Aimee Jarrett, Ozarks Healthcare Vice President of Ambulatory Services, said. “This event is an opportunity for women to learn more about their health, ask questions and connect with providers who can help them navigate each stage of life.

The event is free and open to women in the community. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions and learn more about the resources available through Ozarks Healthcare.
