A two‑year‑old girl and a 22‑year‑old man from Springfield were injured Friday night in a Wright County crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at 7:50 p.m. on Missouri 5, one mile north of Grovespring, when a northbound 2019 Jeep Cherokee ran off the left side of the road, hit an embankment, and struck trees.
Both the driver and the child passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken by Mercy Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Lebanon.
