According to the CBCO, over 200 units of blood and plasma were used at only one local hospital alone over this past weekend. As the area’s sole supplier of blood and plasma to many area hospital, that could cause problems for the local medical treatment system.

In our listening area, a CBCO blood drive will be taking place in Mountain View on May 2nd. This will be taking place at the Mountain View Community Center from 12:30pm to 5:30pm.

Appointments are encouraged, and can be set up by calling 417-227-5006.
