West Plains, MO. – Former West Plains coach, Chris Taylor, 43, recent pleaded guilty in courts and received his sentence in a case involving the sexual assault of a minor.
This case stems back to January of 2022, where a female student claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Taylor after a sporting event. Taylor’s affiliation with the school ended shortly after.

Taylor pleaded guilty on Wednesday, February 21st, to a felony charge of 1st Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child Creating Substantial Risk, No Sexual Contact. His sentence involves seven years of possible prison time, and five years of probation. This sentence came about after charges of Child Molestation were dismissed in court.
