Pulaski County, MO. – A man was seriously injured following a motorcycle crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred on September 3, 2024, at 12:50 p.m., north of Hartford Lane. 65-year-old Julius Cunningham was driving a 2006 Yamaha XVS 1100 Motorcycle northbound on Highway 28 when he tried to avoid a dog in the roadway. His motorcycle was moderately damaged as it overturned in the near collision with the animal. Cunningham was seriously injured and transported via EMS to Phelps Hospital in Rolla for treatment. According to the report he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The crash was investigated by Trooper P.J. Vroegop of Troop I.
