MSU-WP to Celebrate Diamond Jubilee Celebration Next Month

West Plains, MO. – Missouri State University, West Plains will be holding a special event next month, celebrating their longevity. It’s called the 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Celebration.

A Diamond Jubilee is a term used for an individual or an establishment to celebrate, specifically, a 60-year anniversary. Missouri State University was founded 60 years ago in 1963, and has grown in the community to be a large part of West Plains.

The date and time of this celebration is September 16th from 5pm to 8pm at the Amphitheater on the campus, near the clock tower. Included in this celebration will be a special performance by Dawson Hollow, bounce houses, lawn games, free snacks, and food trucks. In addition, the first 60 guests to attend will be receiving a free t-shirt.
