Parkside House the only Howell Co. initiative on Tuesday ballot

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Tuesday is the day for the special election in West Plains that could decide the fate of the Parkside House at Butler Children’s Park.

A “yes” vote on the ballot will allow the rehabilitation of the home. A “no” vote would be for demolishing the home and installing a splash pad and all-inclusive playground at its location. Both competing proposals also call for other park improvements.
