West Plains, MO. – A Plato woman was arrested following a traffic stop near Hartville on January 22. A Wright County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on Highway 38 near Hartville shortly before 6 p.m.
The driver, Ashley Hutsell, age 37 of Plato, was initially arrested for driving while intoxicated. After she gave the deputy consent to search the vehicle, suspected methamphetamine was located. Hutsell was transported to the Wright County Jail and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

According to online court documents, Hutsell went before the Wright County court last week and bond was set for $1,500 personal surety with special conditions, including house arrest and drug counseling.
