“FFA has had such a positive impact on so many young people in our state by teaching them leadership skills and the value of hard work and instilling in them the importance of carrying on the proud tradition of agriculture,” said Cook, R-Houston. “It was an honor to welcome the Summersville FFA Chapter officers, members and their advisor Ms. Bell to their Missouri State Capitol, and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity I had to meet with these impressive young adults.”

The FFA organization was founded by a group of young farmers who met in Kansas City in 1928. Today, FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
