Huggins, MO. – In Texas County, a juvenile and and an adult were both injured when their side-by-side UTV overturned.
The date and time of this event was Friday, October 20th at 5pm. The location was on Highway M, just one mile North of Huggins, MO. on private property.
Bessie Watkins, 49, was operating a a Polaris Ranger, and caused the vehicle to overturn when making a left-hand turn. The overturn caused Watkins and an 8-year-old juvenile to be ejected.
The juvenile suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Watkins however was inflicted with serious injuries, for which she was taken to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
Corporal T.L. Brown of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G was the investigator of this crash.
