Dena (Ebert) Honig, age 60, daughter of Ray Ebert and Mary (Decker) Ebert was born March 26, 1964, in Los Angeles, CA. She passed away May 27, 2024, in Houston, MO.
Dena is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Garry, Brian, and RJ.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jon; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Dylan Carter; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Rachel Honig; daughter, Amber Honig; and brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Debbie Ebert. She also leaves behind her five adored grandchildren: Dawson, Kalvin, Addy, Aven, and Julian.
Dena grew up in San Fernando Valley, CA where she enjoyed playing softball and spending time with her mischievous brothers. At age 21 she married the love of her life, Jon, and had three children.
Dena could be found rocking out with her husband at concerts (especially Bob Seger), trying her luck at the casino, and cheering on her favorite college sports teams. She especially loved creating art with her grandchildren, who she spoiled endlessly.
Dena was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and cat-mom. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
