Dennis A. Nevergall, a resident of Mountain View, passed away at his home Saturday, July 13, 2024. Dennis was born to Richard and Doris (Blaine) Nevergall on May 23, 1943, in Lima, OH and was 81 years old.
Dennis served in the United States Navy for many years, he first served as an enlisted man and was later promoted to officer. By the end of his service, he was a Lieutenant. He loved learning and devoted his life to education. He obtained a master’s degree in education. He taught for many years in Cabool and the Mountain View, Liberty, and Birch Tree school district. In his free time, he enjoyed travelling, woodworking, spending time outdoors, collecting memorabilia of steam engines, and spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris.
He is survived by his children, Nicole Adams and David Nevergall. He is further survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
