Jackie Wayne Ham, 95 years, 10 months, and 28 days old, passed away on January 21, 2025, at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri.
Jack was born February 24, 1929, in Independence, Missouri to Clarence and Evora (Kabrick) Ham.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Army during World War II.
On June 23, 1951, Jack and Mavis Wells were united in marriage in Bloomington, California. Together they had five children. They lived in California several years before moving to Squires, Missouri.
Jack enjoyed hunting and mowing his yard. He especially like to make wind ornaments that he called whirligigs for the Farmer’s Market.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mavis; and sister, Louise Sell.
Jack is survived by his children Jerry Ham and Becky Crossland, Eugene and Vicki Ham, James and Cindy Ham, Lisa Counterman, and Lori and Bernard; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister, Susan Kirtland; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Jack are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
