Leighann Rinear Didas was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 56, due to natural causes. Leighann was born in Long Beach, California on April 11, 1968, to Leon Oliver Rinear Jr. and Shirley Temple Miles Rinear.
Leighann loved her children and spending time with them. Her grandson, Gavan Rinear, was the highlight of her life and made many special moments and memories for her. Leighann enjoyed being around people, making new friends, playing boardgames, bingo, cards, and bones. She enjoyed traveling, camping, celebrating holidays with family and friends, theme parks, watching movies, music, and playing games. Leighann was loved by her family and friends. Her strength and bright, warm smile will be greatly missed.
Leighann was preceded in death by her father, Leon Oliver Rinear Jr., and son, Timothy M. Didas Jr.
Leighann is survived by her mother, Shirley T. Rinear; sisters, Tammy Alcala, Carol Rinear, Vicki Rinear, Patricia Wilhelm; brother, Leon Rinear III; her children, Lissia Rinear, Hunter Didas, and Austin Didas; her grandchild, Gavan Rinear; and her beloved Chihuahua, Batty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Leighann’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Leighann on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
