Nella J. Bennett, 91 of Cabool, MO passed away on July 14, 2022 at the Springfield Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, MO. She was born on Dec. 2, 1930 in Ava, MO the daughter of Mack and Mable (Garland) Dixon.
Nella was united in marriage to Doyle J. Bennett on January 12, 1949 and to this union two daughters were born, Susan and Cindy.
Nella worked as a telephone operator in St. Louis after their marriage until moving to the farm at Cabool in 1960 where she worked side by side with Doyle on their dairy farm. Later she managed Bennett’s Clothing Store and then the real estate office where Doyle was a broker. She and her family attended the First Freewill Baptist Church in Cabool where she was very active; a strong, faithful christian and loving mother.
Nella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle; sisters, Wilma Dixon and Bertha Brown and a brother, JC Dixon. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Grogan and husband, Lonnie of Cabool, MO and Cindy Ament and husband, Kyle of Grandview, MO; her granddaughter, Heather Clyde and husband, Jeff of Overland Park, KS and a brother-in-law, Paul Bennett and wife, Bonnie of Springfield, MO. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
