Born on April 20, 1943, in Briggsville, Arkansas, Diane was the daughter of Dale and Gwyn Harper. She was raised on a farm, an upbringing that served her well later in life when she and her husband, Glen Hubbard, moved to a farm near Success, Missouri, in the early 1970s. Together they raised their three children there before relocating to Houston, Missouri, to better accommodate the many sporting events and activities that kept their family busy.

Throughout her life, Diane held a variety of jobs, including grocery store clerk, secretary, church secretary, the Lee Factory and Brown Shoe Company, school bus driver, realtor, and the unforgettable role of “Miss Kitty” at the Six Flags Saloon. She embraced each role with dedication and enthusiasm.

Diane especially loved traveling with Glen in their RV, creating cherished memories along the way. More than anything, she loved supporting her family. She was always so excited whenever a new grandbaby or great-grandbaby came along and was always eager to hold and rock them. She rarely missed a sporting event involving her grandchildren or great-grandchildren, and no game was ever considered too far away as long as her health allowed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Glen Hubbard, who was also her high school sweetheart; her children, Tiffin (Kim) Hubbard of Conway, Arkansas; Teresa (David) Arthur of Houston, Missouri; and Heath Hubbard of Costa Mesa, California.

She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Luke (Jodi) Arthur, Caleb (Rachel) Arthur, Micah (Jenny) Hubbard, Whitney Hubbard, Tanner (Emily) Hubbard, Anna (Randall) Woods, Kaitlyn (Kalen) Swan, Tiffany Hubbard, Laurelise Hubbard, Jillian Hubbard, and Sarah Hubbard; and 19 great-grandchildren: Makenzi, Jordan, Jacob, Jaxon, Deacon, Delaney, Eden, Ezra, Indy, Danny, Jack, Carter, Dean, Liam, Zoe, Alby, Jeremiah, Merida, and Kimmy.

Additional survivors include her brother, Durwood (Carolyn) Harper of Houston, Missouri; nephews Wayne (Tabby) Harper of Houston, Missouri, and Mark (Colleen) Harper of Houston, Missouri; niece Jan (Wayne) Long of Ward, Arkansas; brother-in-law Larry “Pete” (Belinda) Hubbard of Cabot, Arkansas; and niece Dana (Bruce) Guthrie of Georgia.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Gwyn Harper; her brother, Phillip Harper; her sister-in-law, Bobbye Harper; and her nieces, Susan Harper Pashia and Tracy Harper Evans.
