Richard Lee Frazier, 66, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Jonesboro, Arkansas. Richard was born on February 16, 1957, to Charles Wesley Frazier Jr. and Mary Evelyn (Harrison) Frazier in Thayer, Missouri.
Richard was united in marriage to Lygenia Kay Montgomery on June 6, 1975, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and to this union two children were born. Richard spent his working years as a truck driver for twenty years and a Road Foreman/Employee for the Fulton County Road Department for twenty-five years. He loved his family (best husband, dad, and pawpaw), fishing, and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
He leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Genia Frazier of Salem, Arkansas; son, Ricky Frazier and wife Carrie of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Mandy Baker and husband Zac of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Dylan Smith (Allison), Aubrey Baker, and Abby Baker; great grandson, Charlie Smith; mother, Mary Frazier of Thayer, Missouri; dog, Lilly; two brothers, Mitchell Frazier and wife Nancy of Wirth, Arkansas, and Charles “Charlie” Wesley Frazier III of Thayer, Missouri; two sisters, Marilyn Arnold of Dallesport, Washington, and Carolyn Ary and husband Tim of Thayer, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until time of service on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will follow services in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Kyle Ward, Jamie Smith, Dale Ivey, Ted York, Terry Walker, and Layton York. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Ary, Donald Arnold, Nicholas Ary, and Randy Frazier. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
