Cardinals 4, Nationals 3

Paul Goldschmidt hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals 4-3 at Busch Stadium. Willson Contreras added a solo home run while Pedro Pages [[ paw-hezz ]] and Michael Siani each plated runs. Ryan Helsley got the win in relief. St. Louis snapped a three-game losing streak with the win and is in second place in the NL Central at 54-and-51. Andre Pallante starts for the Cardinals against Texas tonight.
