Eminence, MO. – A Silex man was injured in an ATV crash in Shannon County on April 28th. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on County Road 235, seven miles southeast of Bunker at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
A northbound 2006 CanAm Bombardier driven by Robert Grills, age 31 of Silex, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, leaving the driver with serious injuries.

Grills was charged with driving while intoxicated and released to medical personnel to be airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
