There has been an important update on the investigation in Marion county involving the body of a man who had apparently been stabbed to death.
This investigation began on Christmas night after 11:20pm, when Marion County Deputies responded to a stabbing report at a residence off of Marion County Road 5013. The body of a man was found who was pronounced deceased. That victim has been identified as a 43-year-old male from Yellville, AR., Lucas Jewell.

The suspect in this case was also identified and arrested, Stephen Fitzpatrick, 67 of Everton. No further information on what happened that led to the death of Jewell has been revealed.
