Jonathan Maddock Harlow, Jr., 87, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Monday, January 22, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Steele, Missouri, on March 24, 1936, son of the late Jonathan Maddock Harlow, Sr. and Lillie Mae (Anderson) Harlow. He was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Valine on March 14, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his working years, Jr was a roofing contractor. Jr loved to talk. He handcrafted custom guitars among many other projects. He was a former master gardener. Jr was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas, he loved his church and volunteered in completing many church work activities. He loved his family greatly and they loved him.
Jr is survived by his wife, Nancy Harlow of Salem, Arkansas; sons, Micheal Harlow (Rhonda) of Salem, Arkansas and Jonathan Harlow, III (Becky) of Glencoe, Arkansas; daughters, Marilyn Harlow of Salem, Arkansas and Lori Graham (Donald) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Eldon Harlow (Phyllis) of Katy, Texas and Ray Harlow of Decker Prairie, Texas; sister, Wanda Combs (Henry) of Fouke, Arkansas; grandchildren, Woody Harlow, Cody Harlow, Jason Pettit, Ben Benton, Ashley Dodson, Alex Harlow, Cami Thompson and Colin Thompson; 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Thompson; grandson, Walter Wiggins; parents; sisters, Edith Eisenhour, Laura Freeman and Mabel Harlow and brother, Larry Harlow.
Pallbearers include: Cody Harlow, Woody Harlow, Alex Harlow, Ben Benton and Colin Thompson

Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. John Hodges and Bro. Tom Doty officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.
